Brian O’Dea, owner and farmer at Kingfisher Farms.

Established in 1986

Nestled between the Pacific Ocean and the Coastal Mountain Range, up the Nehalem Valley, and right on the banks of the Nehalem River, sits Kingfisher Farms. The farm was established in 1986 by the late, great farmer Jeff Trenary. Beginning with the first plantings in on this land in 1986, his farming methods were strictly sustainable and chemical-free. Kingfisher Farms earned the honor of being the very first certified organic farming operation on the Oregon coast. The O’Dea family continues the same philosophy and practices to provide the finest organic, artisan produce to local markets and restaurants. Kingfisher Farms is Certified Organic by Oregon Tilth. We use only certified organic seeds and fertilizers. Never pesticides or herbicides.
