Organic Farming on the Northern Oregon Coast
Nestled between the Pacific Ocean and the Coastal Mountain Range, up the Nehalem Valley, and right on the banks of Nehalem River, sits Kingfisher Farms.
Kingfisher Farms was the first organic farm on the Oregon coast, established in 1986 by the late, great farmer Jeff Trenary. The O’Dea family continues with the same philosophy and methods of farming to provide the finest organic, artisan produce to local markets and restaurants. We use only certified organic seeds and fertilizers. Never pesticides or herbicides. Our farm is certified Organic by Oregon Tilth.
“The ultimate goal of farming is not the growing of crops, but the cultivation and perfection of human beings.”
